Commercial Real Estate Development

As owner of Trainor and Associates Jack Trainor has developed over $400 million in commercial real estate in both the San Francisco Bay Area and Reno/Sparks, Nevada. Both office and the industrial product was developed as a partner and development lead for Northwestern Mutual Life. One of the projects in this portfolio was the award-winning South Center Business Park, which featured a 453,000 square foot regional headquarters for Arrow Electronics.

Community Development

Passion, skill, and a commitment to community drove Trainor and Associates to add 5 government and non-profit projects to its roster of successful projects. The Northwest Reno Library was the first branch library built in 35 years and was an award-winning adaptation of an existing building. The James Howard Bridge and bike path were a significant addition to the Truckee River bike path, while the Idlewild skatepark was the first skatepark in the Reno/Sparks area. Kiddieland is the main child’s play area in central Reno and got an overhaul with personal and donated funds. Lastly, a major contribution to Galena Creek Park was the Trainor lodge, a great meeting place for groups, picnics, and weddings.
